How to reserve a puppy!

Now that we have healthy puppies on the ground we will start taking deposits to reserve them for families. The deposit is $500 and is applied toward the total purchase price of $1500.

Yes! The ultimate decision is yours alone, but we will try to help guide you in the right direction based on what you have told us about your personality preferences and living situation. Are you looking for a high energy athlete, or a family pooch that enjoys cuddle time on the couch? Does your puppy need to have a low prey drive because you have other small pets in the home? As the puppies personalities emerge we will keep the puppy parents in the loop so we can help you choose the best fit for your family.

The order of choice goes by the order in which deposits are received. So if you want to have the largest selection of puppies to choose from, you will want to put down your deposit to hold your place in line as soon as possible.

In this litter there are 5 girls and 4 boys. We have one chocolate spotted female puppy, two Irish marked chocolate males,  one chocolate solid male with white paws,  one solid chocolate female puppy with white paws, and 4 solid black puppies with white paws (3 girls and 1 boy). The order of choice is determined by the order in which deposits were made, the further you are down the list the fewer puppies there will be to choose from. For this reason we can't guarantee which color puppy you will be getting until those ahead of you on the list have made their choices. As far as gender goes, when deposits are made you can choose to be on the boy waiting list or the girl waiting list. Alternatively, if color is a deciding factor for you, you could wait to reserve your puppy until the official picking date.  The puppies personalities will start to emerge around 3-4 weeks but will become more obvious by 5-6 weeks. In the 5th week we will let families make their choices. Once your puppy is chosen, we will send weekly (or daily if you like!) Updates and pictures of your special pup. However be aware that it is very possible the list will be full/deposits taken for all puppies by the time the picking date comes. So if you choose to wait you may miss out on this litter.

The deposit is non-refundable. The only exception to this rule is if a puppy is seriously  injured or dies, leaving us with fewer puppies than we have families with deposits.  If you are unable to get a puppy because of a death or injury in the litter your deposit will be refunded. We do not refund deposits because you changed your mind or are no longer able to take a puppy due to personal reasons.

Puppies are ready for their new homes between 8-12 weeks from birth. There are two natural fear periods puppies go through, and these are not ideal times to leave the comfort and security of the litter and mom. Each puppy will be different but most will be ready to go around the 8-9 week mark. For this litter the puppies will be ready to go in the month of October. Once your puppy is chosen, we will keep you updated on their progress and do our best to accommodate your time-frame for travel time/pickup. As long as a puppy isn't in an active fear period they should be good to go!

Around 5-6 weeks old each puppies personality will be pretty apparent. The order of choice is determined by the order in which deposits were placed, so when choosing time arrives that is the order of go. We will do our best to showcase each puppy's unique personality so we can help match energy level and personality to each family. The ultimate choice is yours, but we will have recommendations for you based on our knowledge of the litter.
